Apple Launches App Store Indie Games Week With Sifu and No Man's Sky

Apple has launched App Store Indie Games Week, highlighting seven games for iPhone and iPad with daily features and curated collections. The lineup ranges from the martial arts combat of Sifu to a mobile version of No Man's Sky, with titles available to download or pre-order.

Sifu

Sifu follows a young kung fu student seeking revenge, with combat built around parrying attacks, chaining combos, and using objects in the environment as weapons. The iPhone and iPad adaptation includes touch controls designed for mobile, a reworked camera system, and full controller support.

The game is $7.99 on the U.S. App Store and requires iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or later.

Vampire Crawlers

Vampire Crawlers takes the world of Vampire Survivors in a different direction, replacing bullet dodging with tactical deck building. Players work through dungeon runs by finding card combinations and hidden relics, with turn-based battles against skeletons, bats, and other enemies.

It is $9.99 on the U.S. App Store and requires iOS 18.6 or iPadOS 18.6 or later.

No Man's Sky

Hello Games' No Man's Sky will debut on iPhone and iPad on October 28. The mobile release includes every major content expansion to date, including the Cosmos update, which lets players command their own space stations.

The game uses a procedurally generated universe rendered at runtime, where players can explore, trade, fight, and survive across an interconnected galaxy.

Little Kitty, Big City

Little Kitty, Big City puts players in the role of a curious cat exploring an open-world metropolis.

9 Kings

In 9 Kings, players build a kingdom and assemble armies using cards to take on rival rulers.

Dome Keeper

Dome Keeper combines mining on an alien world with defending against enemies, as players dig underground while fending off attacks.

Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall

Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall centers on the decisions involved in trying to save a crumbling empire. The last four titles are all available to download now.

App Store editors have also assembled an indie games collection for iPhone and iPad and a separate guide to indie games on Mac.
