Apple's first foldable iPhone, iPhone Duo, is now available to pre-order through Apple's website and the Apple Store app, starting at $1,999 in the U.S.

Pre-orders opened today, Friday, October 16, at 5 a.m. PT / 8 a.m. ET in more than 70 countries and regions, including the U.S., Canada, the UK, Australia, China, and Japan. Deliveries and in-store availability begin October 23, with another 28 countries and regions following on October 30.
Both star white and night sky come in four storage capacities. The base model includes 256GB, while higher-capacity versions cost $2,199 for 512GB, $2,599 for 1TB, and $3,199 for 2TB in the U.S.
Customers can choose from trade-in and financing options when ordering. In the U.S., eligible iPhone 13 or newer trade-ins qualify for $175 to $885 in instant credit, depending on the device. Carrier offers provide up to $1,200 with a qualifying trade-in and plan, subject to the carrier's terms.
Apple Card Monthly Installments offer 0 percent APR over 24 months for approved customers. Apple Upgrade, provided by Klarna, instead offers a consumer lease starting at $57.99 per month for 24 months before taxes and trade-in credit. That is not an installment purchase: customers can upgrade, return the phone, or make a one-time payment to buy it at the end of the term, subject to eligibility and lease terms.
The iPhone Duo pairs a 5.4-inch outer display with a 7.6-inch folding inner display and an A20 Pro chip. It ships with iOS 27.1, which adapts as the phone opens, folds, or rotates. Split View places two apps side by side on the larger screen, while StandBy works on either display without a charger.

Other features include 48MP Main and Ultra Wide rear cameras, Touch ID in the side button, and an eSIM-only design worldwide. The iPhone Duo FAQ covers camera differences, charging, app compatibility, and Apple Pencil support, which is scheduled for later this year.
Apple's two-part iPhone Duo Case is also available to order for $79 in sand or navy blue. The $129 Folio with Kickstand comes in taupe or navy blue, with both accessories supporting MagSafe and Qi2 charging.
