Epic Games has made at least $1.6 million in 5 days from their popular Infinity Blade game for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, according to TUAW.
Epic. GameIndustry (registration required) and AppModo looked at the Game Center data for Infinity Blade (our review) and found that 274,000 players had registered the game by the evening of December 12. At $5.99 a pop, that means that Infinity Blade earned at least 1.6 million dollars in five days.
Not all buyers register with Game Center so these numbers are likely higher.
Infinity Blade is the first mobile game powered by Epic's cutting-edge Unreal Engine 3 technology. It features gorgeous visuals, adrenaline-fueled battles and advanced character progression in a fully 3D castle realm.
You can purchase Infinity Blade from the App Store for $5.99.
