MacOtakara, a Japanese blog which published rumors about the next iPad, has produced a mockup of what they say the new wide-range speaker will look like.
Some leaked photos show that a hole in the lower right of the rear panel is neither a USB connector nor a SD card slot. It is a large, wide-ranged speaker unit covered with metal mesh.

When the hell are they going to understand that the speakers need to be on the front facing the person, you don't look at the back of the device or the bottom, so why the hell are the speakers there in the first place!

Yeah I know that's Apple's design (although sometimes I wish they would swing to the logical side of things every once in awhile), only reason they do that is so the front looks cleaner and more elegant.
