I think they have stopped this feature because iPhone 5 or 4g whichever one is next would come unlocked. You can either buy the phone from apple and choose your carrier or get it from the carrier at a discounted rate... Just my thought of what I have been thinking.... Let's see if apple does the US the favor of that..

The current untethered jailbreak works well. It works fine with my ipad and iphone4. GPS, safari,skype,bluetooth and WIFI....all working fine. THANKS YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HARD WORK. KEEP UP A GOOD WORK DEV TEAM!!!
They can't jailbreak it or unlock it anymore, al least properly (the current one needs some special SHSH and even so it has lots of bugs) , they said before the 4.2 was released that jaibreak / unlock is ready and in maximum 2 days from official 2.4 release they will release a jailbreak/unlock for this ... but it never happened :) now they claim they have a jaibreak for 4.3 :) that's funny I'm 100% they don't they are just postponing the things ... so that's it for the "jailbreak" story , you'll have to play by apple store "closed" rules from now on :)
I've figured out all this some time ago, so I've sold the my iphone4 (until some "believers" out there are still ready to buy this shit), bought a Nexus S (which I was able to root and unlock next day). The same apps I had on my iphone I could find them on my android phone, so I'm happy with my new phone, it's better than iphone and got rid of the worry of waiting for some "fake" "jailbreaks" that will never come.
What a bunch of loosers, they have taken all donations but now they dont have anything new from September !! Apple has naild them like bitches. I wouldnt be surprised if they announce it for June now, when iPhone 5 is out.

Latest BETA worked Fine Here, and I Think will do an Unlock? I'm on iPad, so no need, but Untethered, Jailbroken, Working Fine. Bluetooth GPS works, Skype is Fine.......
Actually, sheriff (unlocker) announced his delay of the unlock after musclenerd (Dev Team - jailbreakers) announced they will stop until the new upgrade comes.
So it doesn't rule out, it's a consequence. The same outcome, it's shit

Yes, i paid the phone to apple and 50 euros worth apps only this month. This means that i' ve paid for the development of Apple, this beeing the producer of the toys for this loosers. Each owner of an iDevice contributed to the community by paying money at list for the device. Without this, the sorry asses dev team would jailbreak a nokia phone or a tetris game
