It looks like Apple has sold out of its first batch of iPad 2s available for online order. Shipping times have slipped from a couple days to 2-3 weeks.
If you are looking to get an iPad 2 this month you'll have to try your luck at a retail store. The iPad 2 will be available beginning at 5 p.m. local time at Apple Stores, AT&T, Best Buy, Target, Verizon Wireless, Walmart and select Apple Authorized Resellers.

Got mine 9 minutes after ordering started. :D It went from 2-5 days to 5-7 days within only one hour and then to 1-2 weeks a few hours later. I might still go to a store and a second one but this 5pm BS is turning me off. It's hot in L.A.
