ZodTTD has ported Quake to the iPhone and it is now available via Cydia on the iPhone 2.0 firmware.
Apple's release of the 2.0 firmware has set the jailbroken community back; however, slowly but surely developers are revamping their applications to be compatible with the new firmware.
An onslaught of jailbroken applications will likely become available in the near future.

This is not the place to complain about such things.
Further more if you did your research you would see that most of the stuff
you complained about has already been fixed, some even along time ago, or the software
exists to such things as Wi-Fi Data Transfer.
Here are some quick answers to some of the complaints you made....
