A group of Russian iPhone modders decided to modify an iPhone 2G's back case to make the Apple logo glow, according to an iPhoneAlley report.
The device was the handywork of those at GPDA.ru. The modding consists of removing the aluminum "fruits" and inserting the glowing ones.
