Apple will reportedly release its redesigned iPhone in the fall of 2012 and may plan to use a rubber or plastic material similar to that of the bumper accessory in its new device, according to BGR.
In all likelihood, this material will be used as a bezel surrounding the front edge of the phone (like the iPhone 3GS bezel) and it will serve two purposes. First, it will join the glass iPhone face with a new aluminum back plate. It will also cover a redesigned antenna system that surrounds the device, allowing Apple to build the rear case out of aluminum without having to use a large plastic insert above the antennas as the company does on its iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G. Earlier reports suggested that Apple's next-generation iPhone will feature an aluminum case similar to the one found on the iPad 2, as well as a larger display around 4 inches.
While its very likely that Apple will release a redesigned device next year, there is still plenty of time of Apple modify its plans or designs for the next device.

Apple didnt start the whole smartphone bussiness. Do Google search for LG Prada phone which was released before iphone 1 and you will see who copied that design phone. it looks remarkebly similar to iphone 4 and 4S

I thought it was rumored to be released in the summer. But rumors are rumors and nobody knows for sure.
Anyway, even if Apple is sometimes behind in some features to like Android
and even copies a little of it like notifications, when u put it all together, the iOS still has a better user experience than Android or any other mobile OS. Apple stresses quality over quantity.
and maybe even copies a little to its com

Good try but I do not form my sentences as such. I also know how to use punctuation. I do want to thank you for playing though. Continue on. You are most amusing.

So Apple may or may not release a redesigned iPhone in 2012 and they may or may not redesign the redesign with or without a rubber edge and it might or might not have a larger screen than what we have seen in the past but it wont be more than 4"? THAT'S AMAZING!! HOW DO I GET ON ICLARIFIED'S LIST OF UP TO DATE UPDATES REGARDING THIS TOPIC?
