Hell, I would buy up the entire global supply thus causing an Apple TV (not the sandwich warmer) market crash, sending all TV retailers into a spiral of unfathomable proportions.

I would buy one of these for sure. This would be perfect for me.

Great point Lyrrad, As soon as Nokia releases an N or E series of their Touch Screen phone, I am dumping my iPhone. As nice as the screen might be, I am willing to go an extra step or two to have a device that I want.

Let's hope they don't forget to include something important (still can't get over copy and paste on the iphone, how dumb was that?), like the ability to turn on the TV with a remote. Let's hope that we don't have to weekly update the firmware, my wife would kill me if she misses one of her shows because the TV was doing an update. Lets hope they've learn their lesson and understand that innovation is better received if it's not forced, it really sucks that I can only purchase movies on my iphone from the apple store, how about giving the consumer some choice, it would keep them from wanting to unlock the device or leaving you when next hot device comes out.

I should point out iPhone doesn't support 802.11n

Apple has the same dilemma with producing a TV as they did with the iPhone. The phone part of the iPhone simply sucks. It is more iPod and less phone. Instead of hiring some Nokia guys or even SE guys, they hired a few Motorola geeks (we know how well Motorola is doing), and tried to pass off a crappy phone as innovative. The same will happen with the TV if they go this route. Apple should hire some Sony guys from the Bravia section and have them work on their TV. Sorry but States side engineers are not up to the task of producing what the market wants. The focus is too narrow.

Lets hope that Apple build a TV with high quality image. The Cinema displays are outdated and quite frankly suck. I would hope that Apple's TVs rival Sony or Samsungs HDTVs
