can anyone tell me how to obtain replacement reset card? I overpaid through online unlock vendor, received tray and ultra s card, do not have reset card! help, frustrated in minnesota.

jailbreak erases this setup? i want to jailbreak so i can use my personal hotspot. and i lost the white reset card that came with the gevey sim. can i set it up again without the white card?

Well I have the next problem... I don`t have any more the original SIM card from the network the phone is locked on. I moved out if the UK and so on.... I bought a gevey ultra S.. but I can`t make it work... I tried to restore the phone... but still no use. When I insert the gevey ultra s toghether with the new micro sim... it says that is was succesfully unlocked... but in shows no service still.. and every time I lock the screen It displays the setup screen with Sim not valid.. any tips?

it worx it worx finally my iphone worx in czech republic .. thank u guys ... for the record it take me 8 hour to unlock it , dudes i cannot find the setup simcard , guy on video have it right there but when it come i was not able to find it , after that it worx like charm ... iphone 4s baseband 2.0.12 ios 5.1.1 ... ♥♥♥ love u

Hello I tried this on a Tmobile iPhone 4s 5.1.1 and it worked fine. If your network not in list at the end of it says get code, you put your sim which phone is locked to in and saves start up code. I then inserted Vodafone sim and it worked fine except I had to change apn manually which can easily be done by typing in safari and it automatically installs apn so you can get internet. 100% worked for me.

This in fact does work. I bought the Gevey Ultra S from some guy off CL and was very skeptical. I tried it before I bought it and it worked instantly on my iPhone 4s running on iOS 5.0.1. Then the update iOS 5.1.1 was released and it didn't take long for Absinthe to come out with jailbreak. Although JB is not necessary to use the Gevey Ultra S. And when AppleNBerry confirmed that the Gevey Ultra S works on the iOS 5.1.1, I went ahead and upgraded. I am on US T-Mobile and it worked after a few tries. I had to reboot a couple times and wait a few minutes - 1 hour before it worked. It kept saying NO SERVICE and SEARCHING and the pop up "Your iPhone was successfully unlocked" kept coming up a few times before it really did. Only problem is every time you reboot, you have to go through the cycle again. Bottom line, it does work!!! :)

You guys keep repeating same mistakes by telling people that gevey ultra s works and also advice them update to 5.1.1. I tell you it does not work... i bought 3 gevey ultra s 1.6 and CDMA and i have tested them on iPhone 4S at&t ios 5.1.1 and there are two issues with it: 1) sms do not work properly and you can not update sms center and 2) every 10 mins you get sim failure and you have to hard reset your phone. I would suggest applenberry to recommend their customers to Stay on 5.1 since current gevey ultra s v1.6 does not support 5.1.1

For clarification. Gevey CDMA and GSM works both on Att and sprint, but ultra s gsm works only on att. I have 3 gevey 2 gsm and one cdma and i have tested all of tree in the lastes 5.1.1 att iphone 4s. And they do not work

The video they have on their website conflicts with the video presented here. The video on their website shows a step where you need to install software only available thru Cydia. The video here does not show that. Which one is accurate?

And if you're carrier is not on the list that is shown when you plug in the gevey ultra sim? I'm currently on ios 5.1 with an Iphone 4s and it's locked to TMN (Portuguese carrier)

There's a different one to unlock "CDMA" iPhone 4S's to work on GSM networks.

guys if any will understand my question please help, regarding the gevey ultra S multi-netwrok , they say for sprint iphone 4s unlock you should be jealbroken on 5.0.1 on certain basbands.so you can use T-mobile and AT&T ( both are GSM networks in usa ). what if you will use this SPRINT iphone 4s as a GSM phone outside USA , do you still have to be jealbroken and on 5.0.1. ? as far as i know the answer is NO , because specially iphone 4s its a multi phone that can be used as CDMA or GSM, and when sprint locked it , they locked the CDMA part also recently locked the GSM part for any USA network, so that sprint iphone can be unlocked as a GSM phone (like any other iphone 4s AT&T like wise) and since the GSM phone gevey ultra S works on 5.1 non jealbroken and on newer basbands it will work also but thing is to be outside USA please correct me if am wrong or help thanks
