RiP Dev has released the eleventh beta version of Installer 4.0 for the iPhone
New and Changed: - Updated category is now only show when something is actually updated. - Update All button for the Updated category. - ChangeOwner(path, owner[, group]) script command is now recursive. - ChangeModeRecursive(path, mode) script command added. - Each category now lists a number of packages in it. - Dramatically reduced memory footprint. - Package information is now properly scrollable. - More info button in the package information page is now much (much!) easier to hit. - Better handling of repositories with a large amount of packages. - Fixed a few Lua commands that were a little broken in the introductory release.

Thanks to Installer everyone started to unlock their iPhone, even myself. So why are people so upset about it? I like Cydia but I think Cydia stole all the know-how. Don't give up Installer and keep going. Big thanks.

Give up RipDev, no one cares for Installer, Cydia rules now.

I don't understand why they call it installer, because this unusable app doesn't seem to be helpful, I mean, I haven't installed nothing from there, is a waste of room in your iPhone. Cydia is the man...

I'm sure it's as bug ridden as most RipDev stuff. Personally due to RipDev's attempts in their software to limit access to other providers and services I won't be touching this with a shifty stick thank you.
