Extremely old news!! What iClarified meant was the the UK Apple Store is now selling iPhone 3G on payngo cheaper than o2's prices.

Yeah, also i flew back from US to UK with my iPhone, purchased an o2 PAYG sim from a vending machine & i get free data.
Don't know how or why but who am i to complain.
