Apple may offer a significant update to iMovie at Macworld according to ComputerWorld sources.

Their sources say iMovie will largely (if not entirely) be a Web Application and Apple would offer its users to "upload your movies to us and edit them there." iMovie in the Cloud would make video access easy for iPhone and iPod touch users. If it can function as a standalone web application this would open up its potential user base dramatically.

This information comes shortly after a previous report that iWork will turn into Web Applications.

I work with huge files, finished projects at about 500mb, think its a bit ambitious to put it in the cloud, here's hoping wideband hurries along.
