Removing the previous version and redownloading does the trick if you have the "item not available" error.

No landscape so it sucks. No one can write a proper email without landscape. It just takes too long. Apple really should allow for more landscape on ALL these types of apps. Not impressed. That alone kills it for me. It is pretty but not very useful unless there is landscape. Blah blah blah.

Indeed, Google has removed the app, not the first time it happens, mostly sure because they found something else to fix before re-releasing it again.

Ever since this update has appeared in my App Store early this afternoon, I get a dialog saying "the item you are trying to buy is not longer available" whenever I click "update"
This is happening on my iPhone 5 and iPad, both running 6.0.1.
Signing out of the App Store and signing back in with my Apple ID hasn't fixed it
Anyone else having problems downloading this update?

This app has been removed? You can't even find it under googles apps on the App Store. When I try to update it says App no longer available.
