Samsung has sued Apple over its Notification Center in South Korea, according to a iNews24 report relayed by Brightwire.
Samsung Electronics has brought a lawsuit against Apple in a court in South Korea over its "Notification Center" patent infringement. Notification Center is a feature that shows all notifications, such as email, texts and weather, by touching and dragging down the top of an iPhone screen.
PatentlyApple believes that the delay in Samsung launching a lawsuit over Notification Center may have been due to notification patents filed by Google that were still pending. One of these patents entitled, "Priority inbox notifications and synchronization for mobile-messaging application" was granted last month.
Another Google patent entitled, "Notification of Mobile Device Events," is still pending.

Clear path for Google... - December 22, 2012 at 10:15pm
When Apple and Samsung will have spent billions in courts, Google will have a clear path to smash them both!

So why is Samsung suing and not Google? What claim can Samsung have when they created nothing?

Because Google is the owner of Android? Samsung would be nothing without Google's operative system.

This is actually right! Apple copied the notification centre concept from Android.
PS: I use both Apple and Android

Actually, the tweak in Cydia was a copy of the Notification Center that was already in Android for a long time before. Many Apple users asked for a notification center in iOS,so Apple decided to integrate it.Samsung doesn't own Android, they just use it,so it's quite a surprise they sue Apple....I would expect Google to do it...boh....we,as end users, should really care,we pay so we want the most for our money, let them sue eachother!
