A detailed camera comparison has been posted by PhoneArena of the iPhone 5 vs. Nokia 808 PureView vs. Samsung Galaxy Camera vs. Samsung Galaxy S III vs. Samsung Galaxy Note II.
Over the years we've done our fair share of cameraphone comparisons, but the one we have for you today is unlike any other. That's because among the contestants we have a real, dedicated point-and-shoot camera – the Android-powered Samsung Galaxy Camera, which will be competing against some of the most capable handsets currently on the market.
Here are just some of the results:

Sorry, my original comment should obviously read SLR, not SLD. Doh!

I suppose we all expected the result :) I would personally prefer a camera to show the actual colours, not vidid. It is easy to saturate using photoshop. Whilst it might be more pleasing to look at a saturated photo, it isn't real. An SLD (digital or film) would also seem less vivid, however you would be brave to say it wasn't a better photo :)
Bottom line - 808 shows most realistic, noise free detailed shots, but a lot of people call it a "phone camera", ie. a camera that makes calls :) It has a real lens, a sensor that has almost 9 times the area (more sensitive) .....
IP5 is actually good for a phone, but not in the same league. Try looking at reviews from actual camera sites, like dpreview - they don't think the IP5 is anywhere near as good.

Sorry guys .. 808 is the best .. it won numerous similar comparison tests in the past and also numerous awards. Not to mention the sound recording quality which is beyond everything thats available on the cell phone market.
