I have done this about 10 times now on iPad 3 and iPhone 4S. Never a hitch, perfect, easy, quick.

It's saying the device is not activated, and I can't activate it on itunes as well,it displays a message can't activate now,try again later. please Help

I have a iPhone 3Gs with iOS 6.1 10B141 Baseband 05.16.08 and tried to jailbreak it with this tutorial, but evasi0n is is still working on the first step since 35 minutes? Should I be concerned and is there a solution?

How about unlocking after jailbreak with evasi0n? You do not talk about it, because its just a jailbreak not unlocking.

Installous is no more running. try to add cydia.iphonecake.com and install appcake. works like installous.

Factory locked. Vodafone Romania. JB works but few issues ( i cant delete appstore apps , i cant see the 3G or wifi signal if the phone is unlocked ) but all ok in the rest :) Thx developers

FYI your stuck on Stage 2 (1/3)... Setup your phone/ipad/ipod 1st, Go into the phone setup everything. Agree to everything, then restart the jailbreak again. It will work 100%.

Still a no go. Erased iphone and went through setup again until showed home screen. Then rebooted and re ran the jailbreak. Still no jailbreak icon on the home screeen.

That's what was missing for me, setting up the iPad FROM the iPad - not just enabling it through iTunes following the update and restore. Worked like a charm, thanks so much, man.

Iphone 5 on IOS 6.1 gets stuck at "tap the new jailbreak icon" There is no icon to tap. Worked fine on iphone 4 but icon isn't showing on the Iphone 5. Suggestions?

Just Fyi, for those on io 6.0.1(redsn0w jailbreak) you may need to manually reboot your iphone. after which everything will be normal(jailbroken). :) and also your previously installed apps will be removed.
