You Can Bypass the iPhone Lockscreen Passcode in iOS 6.1 [Video]

A method of bypassing the iPhone lockscreen passcode has been discovered. A video by YouTube user videosdebarraquito details the method which gives access to Contacts, Photos, and sending Email or SMS messages.

How To:
● Slide to unlock
● Tap the emergency call button
● Hold the sleep/power button until the slider appears
● Tap cancel
● Dial 112 and cancel it ASAP before it can go through
● Lock the device using the sleep/power button
● Press the home button
● Slide to unlock
● Press and hold the sleep/wake button and in exactly 3 seconds tap the emergency call button.

I got the multitask to open up by following the same steps except at the end right after u click the emergency call button you keep clicking on the home button on my iPhone 5

This is stupid why not tell Apple about all the bugs and then we won't have no more jailbrakes coming. People should shut their mouth when it comes to things like that, Apple ears are everywhere !!!

I buy Apple products because they are immune to viruses and are the most secure products on the market! LMAO They are getting worse and worse... Pretty soon I will be able to get addresses of all Apple customers when I power off my iPhone and hold the volume up while pressing the home button...

Apple was never immune to viruses, if you believe that then you are a fool, I remember a few viruses for Apple infect jailbrakes are in a way viruses, I went to a hacker convention and they where talking about how sometime it can take months and even years to write a good worm and how it's just not worth it to creat a virus for an Apple when

I was able to get this to work on my iPhone5. They left out one important step, you have to press the Home button when the phone key pad appears(taking a picture of the screen) otherwise it won't work.

Now this has been discovered if i lose my phone will anyone be able to get into my text messages or any other apps, apart from the phone app ?

If you use the iGotYa app in Cydia and use the "Keep from Power Down" option, it will prevent this.

iPhone 4S and 6.1 and 6.1.1 has a WIFI bug. The phone will lose wifi connection after about 40 minutes to 1 hour of use. Going to the lockscreen and and unlocking your device again will bring back wifi. I wish apple could fix this bug. I also have an iPhone 4 and the bug does NOT exist on this device... i guess its related to the iPhone 4S.

I had that problem on 5.1.1 on my 4S but only when jail broken it went away on iOS 6 jail broken or not and I don't think it's a bug I believe it's one way that apple tries to save battery by turning off antennas when the phone is not in use.

Sorry I read it wrong, my only did it while the phone was locked, it was turning off the WiFi and only when I unlocked it took like a few seconds for it to go back on WiFi from 3G. But like I said now its gone you should try restoring its not a problem in the phone more likely you got a problem with the WiFi router in your house also my problems went away with a new computer now that I think about it, have no idea why it should make a difference but its a fact I'm using the phone typing this and I'm on 6.1.1 jail broken also if your is jailbroken it could be that something goes wrong with the jail breaking process, try another place with a different computer and a different router.

At least they can't access the springboard! To me I don't see a big deal its just a bypass for phone calls.

I wonder if you can access the multitasking bar from there to open any recently opened apps?
