AppleDigger has posted a new concept for the much rumored Apple Television (iTV).
The basis of the case, as in the iPhone 5, is an anodized aluminum 6000 series. TV painted black and is only available in this color scheme. Is likely to be released iTV 3 variants with different displays - 30", 41" and 50". It has a FaceTime HD camera for video calls, and the top, at the end, dual stereo microphone. On the back side there is jack cable, Ethernet, Thunderbolt to connect to my MacBook, four USB 3.0 and audio jack. Under the glass logo hidden Wi-Fi antenna. [Google Translation]

Apple will not be making TVs. People already own perfectly fine HDTV monitors in sizes ranging up to 70" or more. They are not about to throw their TVs away.
Remember, it's not the TV display that's the problem. It's the confusing and user-unfriendly services and set-top boxes!
Apple's "hobby" Apple TV has lately become more serious, according to Tim Cook.
We can expect a future, more capable Apple TV and new apps and services to run on it, that will replace everything else (cable boxes, satellite boxes, game consoles, etc.) and do it in a way that is much more user friendly than anything else available today.

So we took an iPad Mini and stretched it? That's what I'm seeing here.

Put wireless AC router in all models, so one can easily set up a wireless system in a house. Make the screen retina, put internet browsing and above all, make it open to independent developers, like the iPad.
It would sell in the millions.

This concept is wrong. The iTV must have no bezel edge-to-edge 4K screen, hidden speakers with wall mount.

I bet 16:9
4000p (or whatever retina ratio is for size led)
720p webcam (upgraded to 1080p for iTV-s)
Siri like.... Ask for show me, cooking recipe or how to do
Streaming live picture widows from distant places. (Fireplace and fish tank free)
AirPlay surround sound speakers (HD in next upgrade)(flat panel speakers)(AirPlay subwoofer maybe included)
Scared to say none or just one hdmi (since all bluray, pictures, music is on cloud
Use ipad was remote.
Skype or italk type client
Maybe 64gb flash drive to store some content
Build in movie making software or photosteam content family videos/pictures to other grandma-pas with itv (can you see the commercial already)
1700-1900 for 32-36"
$2500-3100 for 40-42"
Next year will be 50-52" release

This has to be the worst concept I have ever seen... 4 USB ports and no HDMI ports!?!? This isn't a tv, it's a larger apple display monitor.

So...a Thunderbolt Display combined with the aesthetics of the iPhone 5. Wow! Those Russians have quite the imagination!
