Apple and Samsung have both utilized ideas from various sources: voice typing (Apple: 2012, Android: 2010), quick responses (Apple: 2012, Android: 2011), deployable notification bar (Apple: 2011, Android: 2009), iPhone design (Apple: June 2007, Samsung F700: February 2007), slide to unlock (Apple: 2007, Windows CE: 2005), tablet (iPad: 2010, Windows Tablet PC: 2002), Samsung photo frame (2006), iPhone 4 design vs Sony prototypes, iPod nano design (2012) vs Samsung YP-P2 (2007) or Nokia Lumia (2011), calculator app design (2007) vs Braun ET44 (1977), iTunes (2000) vs Ritmoteca (1998), and App Store (2008) vs Ubuntu software center (2009). Also includes features like MagSafe, clock design, Siri, simple icon homescreen, iPad split keyboard, wifi sync, and camera unlock.
