BlackBerry is Inviting Select Users to Test BBM Beta for iOS and Android

Posted August 1, 2013 at 2:41pm by iClarified
BlackBerry is reportedly inviting select users to test out BBM for iOS and Android via the BlackBerry Beta Zone, reports BlackBerryOS.com.

It seems that BlackBerry are moving forward with the cross-platform version of BBM as we have learned that there are a small number of users that are getting the chance to test out the Android, and iOS versions of BBM. The program is not available for everyone, but if you have received an email like the one shown [below], you'll find it available under Eligible Programs. Much like it will be when it goes official, the beta version of BBM for Android requires v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich); while the beta BBM for iPhone requires iOS 6 as a minimum requirement.

You can check out some screenshots from the Android version below as well. BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins has promised that BBM for iOS and Android will be available 'before the end of summer'.

Okay, so how can someone sign up for beta testing? I'm a registered developer for Apple.
