Five Year Old Turns Down Free Sony Tablet for iPad on Jimmy Kimmel [Video]

On Jimmy Kimmel last night, five year old Arden Hayes turned down a free Sony Xperia Z tablet because he was going to get an iPad for Christmas.

The child genius was on the show to demonstrate his incredible knowledge of world geography. When presented with a few parting gifts, Hayes humorously dismissed a puzzle of a globe because he has a real globe at home and turned down the Sony tablet saying, "Well, you could just give it away because we're just planning to get an iPad for Christmas."

Edited version of the video is back, no doubt to appease CBS who wants Jimmy to have as much time on your screen as possible, naturally. "So Mr. Hirai," they queried, "how about if we just cut that part out." ... and that's exactly what they did, proving once again, boys and girls, that the truth hurts.

I see what they did with the video. Earlier when it was first posted, at the end of the video they show the kid rejecting the sony tablet and saying he's getting an iPad. Now the new video has that part cut out. Must have been a demand by sony or something since Kimmel is sponsored by Sony. What a blow and kick in the nuts for sony. I bet they're pissed.
