Apple has provided developers with the Release Candidates for watchOS 26.2, visionOS 26.2, and tvOS 26.2, signaling that a public launch is imminent. The build numbers for today's updates are 23S303 for watchOS, 23N301 for visionOS, and 23K51 for tvOS.
The watchOS update delivers Enhanced Safety Alerts for users in the U.S., offering detailed warnings about threats like floods or natural disasters. These alerts now include maps of affected areas and links to safety guidance. Apple has also tweaked the scoring classifications for Sleep Score, and importantly, fixed a bug that caused the Music app to hang instead of playing the next track.
Over on the Apple TV, a new kids mode has been added to the TV app for child profiles. tvOS 26.2 also allows for the creation of user profiles without an Apple Account, making it easier to manage guest users. The Vision Pro update appears to be maintenance-focused, addressing bugs and stability issues following the major update in September.
These updates arrive alongside the RC for iOS 26.2 and are expected to be released to all users as early as next week.
Developers can download the new builds directly from the Apple Developer Center or install them via the Software Update menu in System Settings on their respective devices.
