Motorola has begun taking orders for its $179 unlocked contract-free Moto G smartphone.

The Moto G is significantly cheaper than the most smartphones and Motorola is hoping that the low price will help it gain market traction. You can purchase Moto G for $179 (8GB) or $199 (16GB) from the link below. Shipping starts on December 2nd.
This should have been the Moto X in the first place! Fun colors, customizable, irresistible pricing, lack of latest Android and lack of bloatware, makes it a perfect package. Google is in an unique position (read: cash rich with tech know-how) to make a mid-high-end device at low end pricing without worrying about profits and this is how they can capture market share.
