I tried to do what that video says but when I click on PHONE I don't have the show my number tab. Is there a reason why? I have a iPhone 6s with sprint. Can anyone help me out?

It most likely has to do with carrier. Depending on the carrier will reflect if you can do this or not.

I don't have that option at all on my phone. I think that it is a carrier issue since I have Sprint and they might lock most settings on the iPhone.

Yeah but if that person blocked your phone number, it doesn't matter if you come up as a private caller.. Your number is still blocked so it won't go through to that person regardless.. Right?

I am able to block my number & it always works but I called back to a computer help desk scam. The scammer wanted to verify my phone number in case we became disconnected. He then rattled off my phone number & I was surprised.

I have tried every thing, following the normal sequence for the I phone 5, as follows: "Settings -> Phone ->Show My Caller ID -> Show My Caller ID - Turn this setting off to hide your number" However the show my caller ID or hide it if it was already on, and the button is there on the normal position showing grey. and will not respond. Perhaps a large hammer and a new phone might make me feel better. Pity they are all so expensive. or else the is phone would have had a flying lesson. with a guaranteed bad landing. Has anyone got an idea of how to fix it, and my mobile provider said its not them. Help wanted or the phone will die. At my hands. Please..

How about arranging a worldwide training class for this ? lol. Such a complicated procedure for a simple thing after spending a fortune for a crap (I mean iCrap). And more than half people even commented that its not working. Fun time for iSheeps. Enjoy :D

this is a carrier dependent service, only some carriers offer this service while others don't. If option is greyed out that means your carrier doesn't support this. You are in a FREE land like me.

as said earlier, *67 before the phone number you are dialing will block your number. This works with all carriers.
