MapQuest has announced that MapQuest 4 Mobile is now available for the iPhone and iPod touch.

The application represent a leop-forward in how you currently interact with maps, directions, and local search on your iPhone.

Utilizing MapQuest.com as a base foundation, we've started from scratch and completely overhauled the experience for iPhone users. Leveraging the iPhone's unique Multi-Touch interface, we have built a set of innovative features that make viewing, planning, and navigating your world easier than ever before!
