The event starts at 10:00 a.m PST like usual; however, the Loop notes that it is being held in a different location.
Typically Apple’s events are held either at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco or at the company’s campus, but this year is a bit different. Apple said in the invitation that the event will be held at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, the city where Apple’s corporate headquarters is located.

The 'Wish we could say more' caption is definitely creating a lot of discussion about upcoming innovation.

I think the iPhone 6 design has some similarities to Samsung's current aesthetics.

Had a feeling it might be on the 9th. Just got an email today saying their back to school sale ended on the 9th. Coincidence?

Is the Flint Center a bigger or smaller venue (IE seating capacity) then the other two ?

It appears as though the Flint Center is much larger. The Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater has a seating capacity of 757; whereas, the Flint Center has a seating capacity of 2405.

Next to the original iPhone and iPad this is probably one of the biggest and most important product announcements in awhile, or ever.

Why Flint Center at De Anza College?? They should held it either in San Francisco or their headquarter in Cupertino. The only reason I could understand is their headquarter is only 5 minutes away, but with big event like this, it should be at a big or well known location! Good thing is that there will be tons of parking since school hasn't started yet!

One reason is that it's where Jobs first introduced the Mac. 30 years of the Mac and probably one of the biggest and most important and anticipated events since the first iPhone.

I wonder if there will be many new features or similarities to existing devices unveiled. Fingers crossed.
