Walked into Costco in Windsor Ontario at 10am, no line ups and 10 mins later walked out with an iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Did not see any lines at BestBuy or Futureshop either. Next time Apple release a product come to Canada :)

Awesome, they reopened the "Return your plastic phone day event" this seems to be weekly but stopped last week to appear like no one hates these damn Samsung phones...well I'm so glad the 10 location is open again in our small town. BTW: your dad just picked up an IPhone 6 plus and he said, it was the best decision he ever made!! So now he is leaving us.

Good because he can connect to even mor relaxes not on the go. He has a bright future his new phone will bring. Now I can live a little more loner with the 6. Got my 4.7" darling.

Got in line at 1:30am in Lake Charles, La at the AT&T store. 10th in line and I got the last 6 plus. Also it was a gold 64 which is what I wanted.

I stood in line for 3.5 hours only to go home empty handed (Crocker Park Apple Store west of Cleveland). They ran out of the Plus while there are about 90 people still ahead of me. Never going to wait in line at the Apple store in any future release. Very poorly handled on Apple's part. Last year I stood in line but did go home with what I wanted. At that time the had cards where you already knew you would get your product while you were still in line, and they served refreshments. Nothing like that this year.

Why didn't you preorder it??? Standing in line is for the experience, if you rely wanted the phone first day, you should've had ordered right at 12 am on preorder day. Especially if you wanted the plus.

I did preorder but due to the snafu in the ordering, and despite beginning to attempt the order process atarting at 3:01am Friday I was unable ti place my order until apparently they were all gone, at which point the ship date had slipped to Oct.13-20.I figured I'd try my lick today at the store, but that didn't work either.

Well sorry to hear that. We ordered 2 but one of them was going to arrive later. I decided to keep my preorder because maybe I could get lucky in store. Well I didn't bother to get in line because 1 it is in route already but at least I am going to get it. I don't think you should blame Apple for your gamble.
