i've been trying to figure out how to do this for nearly three days. clearly, i'm not all that proficient when it comes to the itouch as of yet.
yesterday AFPd was working on my iPod Touch, but I didn't realize I needed to connect to the server to find it (i know...basic stuff). So today when I realized it I re-downloaded AFPd and the Finder App but now AFPd doesn't work at all. The switch says the Server Active is "Off" and whenever I switch it it turns itself back off immediately. What am I doing wrong?

it's me again. it works, just restart the iPhone/iPod completely, not only to the locking screen.

Hi! everything worked until i wanted to connect through the finder (Tiger). Entered username and password, all ok. The it asked for a volume to select!?! the provided list was empty, and the ok button was inactive. thze only choice was to press the cancel button and this led to abortion of the whole process. :-/
any suggestions?

Does this still work? I intalled AFP from the iClarified repo source and no icon shows up. I also tried it the same way as described in this tutorial and I am unable to turn AFP on. ANy ideas?
