uBar is a Replacement for the Mac OS X Dock

uBar from Brawer Software is a Dock replacement for Mac OS X. It can be configured as a dock or task bar, functioning similar to the Windows Taskbar and letting you see all your open application windows.

Find the window you're looking for at a glance. If an application has more than one window, you'll know right away. Click that application to open the window menu, which allows you to bring any window or even just the application itself to focus. You can turn window grouping off, and all your individual windows will be shown right in uBar.

Features:
● Activity Mode - Hold the Control key to see CPU and Memory usage for Apps.
● Multi-monitor Support - If you have multiple monitors, uBar displays on the Primary Screen.
● App Badges - uBar displays red App badges that you can read.
● Spot Unresponsive Apps - Unresponsive Apps get a hatched red background.
● Drag and Drop - Drag folders and files onto Apps to launch them.
● uBar Menu - List Applications, System Preferences, and custom Apps and Folders.
● Favorites Area - Add your favorite apps, folders, and files to the favorites area.
● Clock Area - The clock area displays the day, date, and time.
● Hover Calendar - Hover over the clock area to display the Calendar.
● Expandable Rows - Drag the edge to expand uBar up to five rows in height.
● Themes - Set the theme to System (i.e. Automatic), Light, Dark, Platinum Neue, or Now Playing.
● Sizes - Set the size to Automatic, Large, or small.
● Pinning - Pin or unpin uBar to the left and right of the screen.
● Application Order - Show Applications by Launch, Alphabetical, or Manual Order. They can be excluded as well.
● Window Grouping - Set window grouping to Always, Never, or Automatic.

You can purchase uBar for $20 or download a trial from the link below.

Coming, u should name it as WindowsBar, ugly, old fashioned, and yet, we have spotlight which is intelligence enough to search for something off the dock,

Dude, Windows isn't shit. In my opinion OS X is a lot more shitty than Windows, as in Windows not being shitty at all.

How can you say that? After improving it all here years, they fu.cked it up by making the tasteless texture less randomized layout look yet. It's rehashing a different version of windows 1. It was the last thing I had to put up with windows. Not to mention the nightmares of dealing with bsod. That's the major issue I had with them.

Whatever. But why the hell would you by a 1000+ dollar computer just because you wanted to switch to OS X? That's the main reason why I hate OS X. You actually need to buy one of Apple's computers to be able to use the damn OS. Once Apple allows people to actually install OS X on a regular computer I might change my opinion about it.

You do realize there are discontinued models that are about half the cost. Not to mention you ask Santa for them. I got my 15-inch MacBook Pro retina late 2013 last year. Dead serious. Using it now!

Another thing, who the heck in their right mind would want to buy a model that's been discontinued?

Hovering icons? How is it outdated, besides who cares how it's dealt with, just turn it off by U checking the box where it says "animate opening icons" in dock under settings app. Using the bar will be the most useless way to fix. Rock on that.

Nice to see something like this on a Mac, I know that would take a lot of work to link into system processes and such to make this work. However, to see this feature on a Mac, I wouldn't necessarily want it. If I wanted this, I would probably use windows. However, just like jail breaking, it's always nice to see people coming up with new ideas and giving new options.
