Police are looking for two men who used an AK-47 to rob a man of his iPhone and wallet, near the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, reports CBS.

The incident happened at about 2:40 a.m. on April 10th in the 300 block of S. 5th Street in the Society Hill section. According to investigators, the 52-year-old victim was driving home from a club and parked his car inside his garage. After getting out of his car, the victim was approached from behind by two unknown males who pointed what appeared to be an AK-47 at the victim.

The suspects demanded the victim's belongings, took his wallet and iPhone, then fled the scene in a white SUV.

Both suspects are described as black males, 20-30 years old, and medium complected. The first had a mustache and was wearing a brown jacket and brown hoodie. The second was bald with a goatee and mustache wearing a black jacket, tan pants, and a green/white scarf. Anyone with information on the suspects is urged to call 911.

Police have provided a photo of the suspects which can be seen below...

The story keeps referring to the robbers as "suspects," without ever telling us what the robbers are suspected of doing. Are the robbers thought to have possibly committed some offense in addition to the robbery? Surely the writer didn't mean to imply that the robbers are suspected of committing robbery, because that would be totally stupid, right?
