Here's the First Trailer for the Upcoming Steve Jobs Movie [Video]

The first official trailer for the upcoming Steve Jobs movie featuring Michael Fassbender has landed online. The film is based on the Walter Isaacson biography of Steve Jobs and will only feature three scenes (each one based on the moments before a product launch under Steve Jobs).

Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, the film takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.

You can check out the film's script, which leaked earlier last month, as well as some movie set photos.

The film features Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs and Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak. Additionally, the film stars Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley, Katherine Waterston as Chrisann Brennan, Jobs’ ex-girlfriend, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Andy Hertzfeld -- one of the original members of the Apple Macintosh development team.

The movie is written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Danny Boyle. Steve Jobs will be released on October 9

it's not a remake, it's a different screenplay based on a different source of info.

Still think Noah Wyle did the best Steve Jobs in Pirates of Silicon Valley.

I hate Apple. I hate everything Apple, we'll except maybe the ipod touch. But I will definitely be seeing this movie. Number 1 Michael Fassbender is awesome. Number 2 I don't care what my other Apple haters say Steve Jobs was a freaking genius.

Looks promising, and looks way way professional than Ashton kutcher's one, which was a waste of time and money. Forget about the resemblance, if the actor can create the personality and makes you feel the character you'll stop seeing the deferences after a few minutes of the movie.

Right off the bat as I clicked on this article, the thumbnail of the video of the guy playing Jobs has the hair a bit off. A bit messy and a little too long. I hope it's not that different of a resemblance.
