A new report from M.I.C. Gadget claims that Apple will boost the minimum storage of its iPhone from 16GB to 32GB. The information is provider by insiders who have allegedly seen the packaging of the next generation iPhone 6s.
Today we want to say goodbye to the 16GB’s iPhone. Some Foxconn insiders confirmed that new iPhone 6s (and we think all “future iPhone” like iPhone 7) will have 32GB and more capacity. We can’t tell you from what Foxconn’s department we received information, but we can only say that the packaging of the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus don’t have sticker with “16GB capacity”, but 32, 64, 128.
This isn't the first report to suggest the base iPhone 6s will get 32gb of storage; however, a recently leaked logic board featured just 16GB. It's possible that Apple is just using 16GB for its test units.

i have no problems with costs, i have problems with space to save. regarding this report, I perfectly agree to end with the 16GB models, and they can extend the cancelation of the 64GB also

It's about time!!!! With all the updates you keep throwing out, 16Gig isn't enough anymore. Hope the price stays the same and not $100 more.

In your dreams. They did it on the last iPhone with the cheapest price to pay for, why not this one? Plus it's actually 12 GB left since 4 is taken up by the OS itself so...

It's about time. 16gb should have stopped at the 5s. Neither of the 6 models are great with just 16gb. Fills up way too fast.

It's not that expensive anyways. Memory really doesn't cost that much more. Apple is really making the most money when you buy the highest memory option. Let's say 16gb cost $13 to put in the phone, 32gb will only cost about $15 and 64gb will only cost about $17 while 128gb about $19, but Apple charges $100 more for each upgraded memory upgrade even though everything else in the phone is exactly the same price.

16g is a bit too small with all these high resolution cameras
