Samsung is offering iPhone owners a 30 day test drive of one of its latest smartphones for $1.
Test Drive one of our latest Galaxy smartphones on your current carrier for 30 days with no obligation for just $1. After that, simply return it. Or, if the phone feels right for you, go ahead and upgrade.
To sign up for the promotion, iPhone owners must visit SamsungPromotions.com from their device.
Of course there are a few terms and conditions that go along with the offer. For example, "Customer shall provide PMK with a valid email address and valid phone number on the Phone Rental Agreement for PMK to contact Customer during the Rental Period. Furthermore, Customer agrees to participate in two (2) surveys for PMK; one (1) prior to receiving the Equipment and one (1) following the return of the Equipment. Customer also consents to receive all email and telephone communication associated with the Program. All Equipment rentals shall be subject to carrier, make and model availability."
A shipping label is provided for the customer to return the equipment to the designated return location. If the equipment is not returned by the expiration of the Rental Period, plus a five (5) day grace period, then you may be charged the full replacement cost of the device.
I've been with apple since the iphone 2, the only reason why I haven't switch to the galaxy s6 is my app collection. Samsung really makes impressive phone and the s6 and edge collections are simply the best phones on the market right now. I'm tired of apple's lack of innovation
I call bullshit. What new has Samsung ever done compared to Apple? What are so "best" about the s6 phones? I been with iPhone forever. Samsung was good before 2007.
Where's Samsung's innovation? Apple launches Apple pay, Samsung launched Samsung pay a little while later, Apple adds a fingerprint sensor in their phones, Samsung adds one in their phones (I'm not saying Apple invented the fingerprint scanner or even the fingerprint scanner on a phone but if Samsung was so innovative, they would have done that before). Samsung even copies the SMALL things, Apple adds the parallax effect in IOS, Samsung adds it in their touchwiz (I don't know when). Apple adds the exposure bar that comes up when you press focus, Samsung adds it afterwards except it's blue and a light bulb instead of an icon of the sun on Apple's. Samsung USED to be good, they do sometimes release somethibg innovative, but they mostly copy. Then again, all companies copy, and Apple isn't THAT innovative, but at least they are not like Samsung who announce a hundred phones and tablets each year, and they're all similar (S6, S6 active, S6 neo, S6 dual SIM...). Also, Apple doesn't post childish ads making fun of their competitors, especially the major ones, they ACTUALLY MAKE ads!
I hate samsung too. I actually lost faith in samsung since the day the galaxy s4 came out. it was so ugly and looked exactly the same as their previous generation phones. I was up to here with android all together because of samsungs copying shit and they didn't even copy it right either. it was always glitchy!!! common that fingerprint reader is still shit on the galaxy s6!!! anyways as i was using my old trusty iphone. i heard the release of the nexus 5 for dirt cheap only 350! without a contract! half the price of a flagship phone and all the wonderful things about it being google's pride, android vanilla, always frequent updates when they come nexus will be the first. So i took a final plunge into uncertainty and bought 1. let me tell you, I WAS SO SURPRISED! i had no idea android could possibly work this well. it felt like i was using an iphone but it wasn't an iphone at the same time! it was fast and smooth and i actually DID get my updates and fixes on a timely manner. the nexus 5 was clearly the best android phone ever made. the nexus 6 was good but just too big plus other hardware issues like the size, the weight, the thickness, the camera, and battery. but i learned something after the nexus... its that android vanilla is just as fast and beautiful as iOS. so i am anxiously waiting the next nexus 5!
Nexus is like a well executed version of a cheaper iPhone instead of a company chasing after every bit of it even the fans of it. This is all Samsung has their minds set on nowadays. I used to be ok with them up to the time you started hating them to, I'm so with you on this one. For nexus itself though, as far as updates are, it has little to worry about in terms of what goes in it good or not, and from that is enough to tell why updated come here frequently even if it's less of a target to attack compared to iOS with all the focus and care.
