H. Moser & Cie has unveiled the Swiss Alp Watch, a $24,900 mechanical watch that is nearly identical to the Apple Watch.

If it's design wasn't controversial enough, H. Moser & Cie takes things a step further with an introductory video that mimics Apple's and mocks the features of the Apple Watch.

"No upgrade needed. Our 100% Swiss made technology has been the reference for centuries."

"Power supply down. Our revolutionary power source offers over 100 hours of autonomy at your finger tips. Any time any where"

LESS IS MORE. One Application: Time.

"With no phone, no messaging, no sketches or heartbeats to send the Swiss Alp Watch will change your life."

"So get a life, upgrade to a mechanical watch."

H. Moser & Cie has a similar message for customers in its press release...

"The Swiss Alp Watch does not allow you to make calls, or send messages to share the latest gossip; it does not give you the option to send beautiful sketches you have created on a two-inch screen or to share your heart rate. It does much more than that: it lets you reconnect to what matters in life. It takes you back to sharing emotions with your nearest and dearest without a filter, interface or embellishment. Most importantly, it is something you can pass on to your children one day without having to upgrade it!", says CEO Edouard Meylan.

Take a look at some photos of the watch below and let us know what you think in the comments...

It's time to put a stop to all the hustling-bustling movement. You grab the kids, jump in the car and dash off at breakneck speeds through dangerous cross town traffic to what? Buy an ice cream? Sure those moments with the kids are precious-- invaluable even-- but the tumultuous traverse takes its toll on the tiny travellers. Let's get back to a more real way of travel that lets us be more human-- a way of travel that involves caring for noble animals, feeding them, grooming them and saddling them with fine handmade saddles with intricately tooled arabesques emblazoned on their beautifully tanned leather surfaces. Yes. We're talking horses. Here at the Swiss Barn we supply everything you'll need to care for your more enduring, timeless travel and pack animal. It's not just a horse, we believe, but a new, more profoundly emotive way of living. Today is the day. Sell that Toyota and buy a horse. We're here to help you learn. That trip to the creamery with the kids will never be the same. We promise.

Interesting it must be a spoof or the company making the mechanical watch is not taking their Meds ! You decide for them !

If I'm a rich person that can afford either watch why would I buy something that looks like a $350 watch? I mean if Ferrari has a model that looks like a Fiat I'll probably pass and get another model that looks like a Ferrari!

I love the ad! However, if I'm going to spend $25,000!!! On a watch, the last thing on earth I want is for it to resemble a watch that I can get for $350-18,000!!! Especially if it's claiming to be better because of a LACK of features!!! That's like buying a Rolex that looks exactly like a Timex Expedition! I do like the advertising though... Claiming to allow you to reconnect with real life.

Fck this so-called ad and fck what it's desperate of achieving or wish it achieved something. What's this reconnecting to life? Like what details. I'm not going to click bait this.
