PogoPlank: New iPhone SpringBoard User Interface

PogoPlank: New iPhone SpringBoard User Interface

PogoPlank is a Cydia Store app which replaces the traditional pages of iPhone icons with a wheel of categories.

-----
Each category has a user defined name and list of applications contained within using the PPSettings app. Once all categories are configured, a user can then scroll through the wheel to the category they like, tap the folder and see a list of applications in that category which they can choose to launch.

One of the best features of PogoPlank is it's completely themeable, both within itself as well as using winterboard wallpapers, icons, etc. With the PogoPlank themes, users can customize the theme to their liking all the way down to the opacity of each image. This makes it great if you have a background you want to be able to see while having your folders on top of it.
-----

Future updates will include new features such as right/left handed use, folder passwords, and a developer API. You can download PogoPlank from the Cydia Store for $1.99. It is hosted by Big Boss.

Interesting...Obviously still some bugs that need working out but its a good start. Though I personally don't like the wheel. I've actually been waiting for someone to release a full springboard replacement, and I'm shocked there aren't more. Now I wonder how well this replacement plays with others...

Just noticed they are asking $1.99 for it in the Cydia store. That's a poor choice. As far as I'm concerned it's still in Beta. It should have been released for free to help generate feedback and bug reports as well as generate some free marketing. The most you could ask for this at this stage is $0.99, just look at the great apps you can buy for $1.99. I wonder how far those free updates will go...
