Designer Ralph Theodori has shared a new Wishlist concept for iOS 10 ahead of its expected unveiling tomorrow.

Theodori envisions numerous updates to the operating system including a camera API for code recognition, multiple user accounts for iPad with Touch ID support, a light version of Xcode for iPad, customizable buttons, a sleep timer, and lyrics support for Music, a customizable Control Center, the ability to minimize apps on iPad, 3D Touch speed dial, Touch ID authentication for Settings, the ability to uninstall stock apps, dark mode, and more.

I missing always: - to change the distance between icons. Why waste screen space? - to have same amount of icons in one group box as on a page. (It is much quicker to open/close box than to wipe 5-6 time to get to the page). - to have more icons in the home-bar eg 8 resized ones. - be able to restrict "any" app with easy fingerprint unlock.

All those things you mentioned are cool in their own way and a handful can be achieved by jailbreak. Realistically, the average consumer wants 3-way FaceTime and better battery life for starts.

Some of the concept are already in the current ios version. Lyrics support for example, you can simply tap on the album cover to view the lyrics.

Usually after concepts videos I'm like "wow, this this awesome, why did Apple not do this yet?" In this case I have to say that I don't like most of the things shown here. They seem unnecessary, complex and the interactions shown seem clunky and unintuitive or like they would get in the way of your daily work ("hold a stock app to reinstall", "double swipe for spotlight", "force touch dial key for speed dial"). Also, most of these seem to be about customizations that are not really needed. I can see the need for an EQ for some people, but why in the world do I need to rearrange the quick action buttons in control center?

I agree on multiple user accounts. It's meant to be personal and not to mention how easy it would be to lose all the data left on it compared to computers that are heavy which means it's hard to get away with anything left on it.

the only reason fingerprint scanner is mentioned is because of brute force hackers that will break into the device in order to bypass it. Compared to fingerprint, it's going to take serious hardware to crack it so what are the odds?

Most important thing is the capability to protect apps with fingerprint(touch ID). The cydia tweaks to that have been around for ages. You have copied so many cydia tweaks apple, please put the damn feature into mainstream.
