Apple has announced that iOS 10 will bring over 100 new gender diverse emoji.
More than one hundred new and redesigned emoji characters will be available to iPhone and iPad users this Fall with iOS 10. This exciting update brings more gender options to existing characters, including new female athletes and professionals, adds beautiful redesigns of popular emoji, a new rainbow flag and more family options.
Apple says that it is working closely with the Unicode Consortium to ensure that popular emoji characters reflect the diversity of people everywhere.
Take a look at a few of the new emoji below. Note the use of a water gun in place of a real gun.

Why aren't the families available in different ethnicities?

They updated the look of every emoji and they look like a rip off of Samsung emojis.
