Apple has released a firmware update through iTunes for the iPhone and iPod touch. It is unknown at this time what new features (if any) are included. Most likely this is just a update in preparation for the SDK to be released soon.
Note***: Please do NOT update your iPhone to 1.1.4 until we can verify its safety.

Hi There!
Seems that Zibri is already working on 1.1.4 (that guy is a GENIUS)... look at http://www.ziphone.org/
Cheers!

They don't usually have the latest firmware in the shops for a week or so after it's announced. If you ask, they will generally be able to tell you what version phones in stock are. Just don't buy online :D

Does someone know anything about any 1.1.4 OTB's in the apple stores already or a baseband upgrade, maybe 4.7?

What kind of things does the new firmware add to the iPhone? Anything actually useful?
andrew: is that for 1.1.4 OTB, upgraded or both?

@ nicole: restore to 1.1.3 in iTunes using shift-click and run ZiPhone 2.4 again. Or wait for Zibri :)

ZiPhone jailbreak works with the iPhone on 1.1.4 although its only been tested on an 8GB iPhone. It will not unlock or activate, so beware
