Insomnia Pro allows applications to continue to run and WiFi to stay connected long after your iPhone screen has been switched off.
The application runs as a background daemon with a status bar icon and survives reboots and re-springs. This Pro version allows you to set a schedule for when Insomnia will become active.
Insomnia Pro is available for installation via the Big Boss Cydia Repository.

I could see this being useful for putting IM+ into backgrounding mode and preventing the connection from conking out? I don't know. How does this help me? What are the useage scenarios?
