For those users that are planning to Jailbreak on OS 3.1.3 then I recommend adding this Cydia Source into Cydia after you jailbreak so you don't have to manually input all the Cydia Sources manually. This will automatically add all the best Cydia Sources and give you access to all the best Cydia Tweaks, Themes and Apps for FREE with just a push of a button. Follow the steps below. 1. Open Cydia 2. Tap Sources 3. Tap Edit 4. Tap Add 5. Type this url in the box (cydiasource,n e t) without the spaces and switch coma for a dot in the url. 6. Tap "Add Source" 7. Install the package labelled "All Sources". This will give you all the best Cydia Sources to have access to all the best Tweaks, Apps and Themes for FREE.

Bonjour e0 tous.J'ai suivi le tuto pour jailbreaker mon ihpone 4S Ios 5.0.1. je n'ai plus l'icine greenpoison, mais l'icone Cydia qui ne fonctionne pas. Impossible de l'ouvrir. J'ai reinitialise9 mon ihpone en mettant bien nouvel ihpone , tout est supprime9 sauf Cydia qui est toujours pre9sent.. Je souterais savoir comment faire marcher cydia ( quand j'appuie dessus, la fenetre s'ouvre 1ms et se referme) ou sinon comment supprimer cydia et rejailbreaker mon ihpone e0 nouveau. Lorsque je relance le programme greenpoison, il me dit qu'il est de9ja jealbreaker.PS; j'ai pas l'onglet VPN dans les options, est-ce normal? (il apparaissait juste au dessus de wifi lorsque j'ai installer greenpoison)merci d'avance

i installed the software and followed instructions until I got to updating firmware. phone restarted in emergency code and says to insert valid sim with no pinlock o activate phone. my phone is locked to orange and i havent got an orange sim. I just get emergency calls message displayed in different languages. somebody please help me :'(

No service means that you have no signal, maybe that spot ( wherever that was ) was a dead spot for a signal

every instructions are correct except the things that mentioned in redsnow itself about how to enter DFU mode......its not that hard or complicated........you just have to hold Home button and Power button in time until screen goes fuzzy

I can't get redsnow to recognise the 3.1.3 file? any ideas?

You need to download the 3.1.2 ipsw and use it when redsnow prompts for the file. It works fine with 3.1.3

3.1.2 is not recognized by redsnw

I did it all and it worked till I synchronized the apps from itunes. Now all the apps are working but there are no native icons such as calls, sms, camera, settings. There is no cydia also What should I do now??

It works fine for me, just that iPhone1,1_3.1.3_7E18_Restore did not work in my iphone 2 G A1203, i use the iPhone1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore, Then i got no problem. Thanks Guys! you´re the best!!!!

Thanks! U great - it worked for me. I had 2G iPhone (rev A1203) running 1.1.2 FW with deadend baseband (jailbreaked but not unlackable due to iTunes update) and it was half-bricked for 1 year. Using this guide I've upgarded to 3.1.2 (which obviously upgraded the deadend baseband) and via RedSn0w jailbreak and unlocked it successfuly. Had a problem running this solution on Win7 64bit yet MS VM with XP solved the problem. Now I have my 2G iPhone with 3.1.2, upgraded baseband unlocked and working :) If you have any troubles with this guide use the RedSn0w version provided here and 3.1.2 FW Thanks again!

Just re-do the process again, finally Cydia loaded, so you may want to try it again.

Hi ... I am stuck with the same problem. I have upgraded the OS on my phone to iPhone1,1_3.1.3_7E18_Restore.ipsw and the Redsn0w 0.9.4 downloaded from here does not recognize the 7E18.ipsw. Am download the 7D11 (3.1.2). Do I have to now restore the OS on the phone also to 3.1.2? Will it work?

You need to select the 3.1.2 firmware, not the 3.1.3 ;)

select the prior firmware, then it will recognize the right new .I'm afraid i'ts the last update from Apple to 2G Iphones

I have an iphone 2g ... but when i try to use the firmware i downloaded from here 3.1.3 itunes shows error 1601... and i can´t Update firmware from the iphone.. i used DFU mode in the right way but.... There still 1601 problem.. What can i do buddies? I use the last itunes....

What if i ONLY choose the UNLOCK function at step seven? It will only unlock my simcard and it wont install anything more to my iphone right?
