Apple Extends AppleCare+ Purchase Period to One Year in the U.S. and Canada

Apple has extended time period users have to purchase AppleCare+ from 60 days to one year in the United States and Canada.

The offer is avaialble to customers who pay for the AppleCare+ in full, rather than monthly, or for those who subscribe using installments with Apple Card.


“This gives customers another opportunity to protect their device and have access to all the AppleCare+ benefits,” Apple wrote in a memo to staff seen by Bloomberg News.
