Sensis, the search engine division of Telstra (Australia's largest mobile carrier), is hiring an iPhone developer to put its Australia-only search engine on the iPhone. 9to5Mac notes that the only logical reason a telecom would put its Australia-only search engine on the iPhone, is because the iPhone is coming to Australia.

How will Apple agree to that with Telstra having their own Music & Movie download service? Telstra is so pig headed they won't change and we all know Apple's thoughts on letting others try and take over their 'territory'. My money is on Optus getting the nod. Telstra has a very bad record on their treatment of MAC customers and Apple so again I just don't see it happening. Hopefully Apple won't go any further down this road
