iDongle Performs a Tethered Boot for Jailbroken iPhones, iPods

iDongle is a prototype piece of hardware able to boot your jailbreaked device (a.k.a
"tethered boot"), and optionally jailbreak and hacktivate it if not already done.
Renaud, a graduated Electronics Engineer decided to work on the dongle after being frustrated with his tethered jailbreak.
"Last time, it hang, and I had to wait the end of noon to back home in order to boot it tethered I decided to work on a piece of hardware, able to hacktivate my iPhone everywhere, starting with some evaluation boards available around. Go !"
The prototype PCB features a mini-USB connector for upgrade and a male 30-pin connector (extreme right) to connect to your iPhone/iPod Touch for jailbreak/tethered boot. It is 60×30mm in size and uses a 9v battery for power since the 3.3v from the dock isnt available under iBoot.
Renaud is planning to start a little production run for these dongles and asks those interested to donate first, then when ordering their donation will be subtracted from the cost of the dongle. If he can't raise enough money the donations will be refunded.
"Dont expect prices below 10, the bill of material, including PCB, is about 22 each (VAT included) for a 50 pieces batch, and its not yet mounted 30 could be a good price ?"
The iDongle would come in handy for anyone with a iPhone 3GS made after week 40 (2009), an iPod Touch 2G whose serial number begins with MC, or an iPod Touch 3G.
