Hi, I had un unlocked iphone 3G. I accidentally (!!) upgraded it to 3.1 OS via iTunes when all I wanted was to back up the contents of the phone to my PC. Of course, it is now locked, I can't even open it as it asks me to connect again to iTunes and have acompatible sim card. What options should I check on the iLiberty installation. Thank you.

i lose my anger quick. been at it since 9am this morning. its not 830pm! i finally gotta my phone back. went from 1.1.4 to 2.0 (messed up everything) and now im back to 1.1.4 and i think im gonna stay here. this tutorial was a big help. thanks a bunch.

to anyone who will experience ERROR 1604 (restoring from original iphone 2g jailbreak). Just try to downgrade your firmware from 2.0 to 1.1.4 using itune7.5 and unlock using iliberty. Good luck. Uninstall all programs like itune7.7 and winpwn2.0.0.3. You will need installer like iTunes75Setup.exe, iTunes7.7.1.exe, iPhone1,1_1.1.4_4A102_Restore.ipsw and iLibertySetup_1.2.1.78.exe. my iphone works fine now using the firmware 1.1.4 unlock/activated. you will need this website for downgrade (https://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1504) and unlock (https://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=849) also from iClarified. Im using WinXP SP2 computer.

Hey if you have itunes version 8.0 the firmware version will be 2.0, there for the unlocking process will not work cause the highest it can go up to is 1.1.4 so my main question is how do you downgrade your itunes or where can i get another 7.6 itunes version from? So the unlocking will work?

Using Liberty..got to the last step but it says its having a problem with the payloads.. Note i downgraded from 2.0 to 1.1.4 and everything went well..followed all directions..just the last step..a problem with the payloads is keepin it from finishing.

Need help please. I installed the iLiberty and had no problems. Already set up my phone with some pretty cool apps. I have run into one problem, I can't access my email any more. I used all the different programs except the unlock phone one. Not sure if anyone has had this problem as well but any help would be appreciated.

Hey the worst program to use is Ziphone since it changes the bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9 and you can`t change it back. iliberty and iplus both give you 3.9FB which can be changed back. I was wondering if anyone tried using iliberty+ with an itouch 1.1.4 16gb?

I have accidentally removed installer from my iphone when I was using my Winscp. Everything on my iphone is alright except for installer. Does anyone know how to use install the installer back? I have a 1.1.4 iphone. I was trying to use iliberty to just install the installer back but it doesn't let me to unclick the jailbreak option. I didn't wanna restore the whole phone because my phone has already jail-broken & it's only the installer that I am missing. I have also visisted the nullriver site to download the installer zip file but seems like the link for firmware 1.1.4 has been removed. Please help !!!

Fellows, I´ve used iliberty+1.3.0.113 to unlock/jailbreak and activate my iPhone, but I installed Cydia on it and now I can´t install the applications from iClarified Repository! How do you do to install the old and good Installer to my iPhone? I´ve tried the www.jailbreakme.com, but it does not work! Please help, I want to keep following your tutorials, but with just Cydia it is not possible! Thanks!

Hey happygemini, just stick that error string into google. There's a simple fix to restore the phone.

I was trying the unlock with iLiberty+ tonight. Everything went well until my system turned to screensaver mode while I was away for a shower. When I resumed the windows the program showed "Disconnected" (keep flashing) in the right bottom corner and my iPhone showed keeps on showing the command: "BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0". No matter what I do, the phone has no reaction! Doesn't it mean that my iPhone is gone? Please help!

hey jennys23 I moved from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4 with Liberty and it rocked since all contacts, setting and even wallpaper I chose before the upgrade were all there, no change, fixed and stable! the last time I upgrade to 1.1.3 using the command line and stuff everything was gone history but this time noooope!

I have already 1.1.4 and ziphone, it is worth to do it again with Liberty? and when doing this will I loose all my data and contacts that are already on my iphone? thanks to answer me please!

I just gave it a brisk try and it seems by now that I'm updating my playlist from iTunes that it's working or probably going to work! It was fast, simple and quite fun since no specific techy words and special command line was needed! just connent, load up the prog, select your items from the prog and hit the button! done! really awesome guys. I moved from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4 with no hassle at all.

I have a jailbroken and subsequently unlocked iPhone 1.1.1.2. After unlocking (using ZiPhone)I am facing issued like hanging and apps getting not getting installed. Is your software safe to use. Won't my phone brick if I restore and upgrade it to 1.1.1.4? Regards, Kamal

ILiberty is just like iplus 2.0b but, but here is a very nice interface so even noobs can use it without problems. Nice done guys

what about the international payload? With iPlus, you had to add it... Does iLiberty have it preinstalled or is that still not ready?

how to restore iPhone to 1.1.4 using iTunes? by saying restore iphone, does it mean Put an iPhone Into Recovery Mode ?
