Apple Applies For AppStore Icon Trademark

On March 31 the US Patent & Trademark Office published Apple’s latest figurative trademark representing their AppStore icon.

iPhone or iPod touch users will be able to press this icon on their SpringBoard to launch the Apple iTunes Store from which they will be able to purchase new mobile applications. The AppStore was introduced earlier this month during Steve Jobs's iPhone Roadmap Event.
