that screen is a security measure. a code is required to be input after a timer cycle expires. if the incorrect code is inputed too many times, this screen shows up and the phone is locked to protect its contents. in other words its bricked so the people that's not meant to have it can't view its contents.

notice that the screen never turns off. there is no slider. physically looks real but look, no springboard no nothing. if u want REAL proof, tell him to make a call or something, that is what i think
