Apple TV Unveils Trailer for Season 2 of 'Drops of God' [Video]

Apple has unveiled the official trailer for the second season of "Drops of God," the International Emmy Award-winning drama set in the world of fine wine. Starring Fleur Geffrier and Tomohisa Yamashita, the French-Japanese series returns globally on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.



The eight-episode season will debut with the first episode, followed by one new installment every Wednesday through March 11. In season two, Camille and Issei face a challenge to uncover the origin of the world's greatest wine, a secret linked to their late father, Alexandre Léger. The pursuit leads them through history and hidden rivalries, forcing them to decide how much they are willing to sacrifice—potentially shattering their bond as siblings.


The show has drawn critical acclaim since its debut, holding a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes and earning praise as a "hidden gem." This release adds to a packed early-2026 schedule for the service, which was recently rebranded to simply Apple TV. It follows the company's stated strategy to deliver new original content on a nearly weekly basis throughout the year.

The upcoming slate also includes the return of Shrinking later in January and the second season of Hijack.
