How to Get an iPad 2 Out of Recovery Mode Without Losing Data

My iPad 2 is stuck in recovery mode, and I have photos and files that I do not want to lose. I have tried using tools like Redsn0w and TinyUmbrella, but Redsn0w won't recognize the IPSW and TinyUmbrella keeps rebooting back into recovery mode. I am looking for a way to exit recovery mode without performing a restore that deletes my files.

To exit recovery mode on an iPad 2 without losing your data, start by performing a hard reset. Hold down both the Sleep/Wake (Power) button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. If the device returns to the recovery screen, you can try using a computer utility such as ReiBoot or RecBoot. These tools offer a one-click Exit Recovery Mode feature that attempts to reboot the device into its normal OS without formatting the storage. If you choose to use iTunes, ensure you select Update rather than Restore, as the update process attempts to reinstall the system software while keeping your files intact. Note that a Restore will definitely erase all your data.
